As a Security Officer Unarmed Egress Check Patrol in Torrance, CA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. You will deliver exceptional customer service, communicate professionally, and respond to security-related concerns with integrity. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access protocols, and emergency response activities at an industrial location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of manufacturing areas, offices, loading docks, parking areas, building exteriors, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual conditions and help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points, verify visitor and contractor credentials, and maintain accurate records of entries, exits, deliveries, and security-related incidents.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site-specific procedures and communicating observations to appropriate personnel.
• Report hazards, facility concerns, policy violations, and other unusual activity through required documentation and notify site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership as appropriate.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
