Litigation Attorney

Lester Schwab Katz & Dwyer, LLP is seeking a Litigation Attorney to litigate various types of cases including premises liability, general liability, trucking and automobile matters, Labor Law/Construction Defect, and property damage. This is an excellent opportunity for New York and New Jersey admitted attorneys looking to work in a collaborative and growth-oriented environment. Responsibilities Handle general liability, premises liability and other tort matters from inception through resolution. Analyze liability and damages issues and provide strategic legal advice to clients. Appear for court appearances, depositions, and mediations Conduct legal research and prepare motions, briefs, and other litigation-related filings. Manage an active caseload while developing trusted relationships with clients. Qualifications Admitted to practice law in New Jersey and New York. Federal Court admission is a plus. 2+ years of insurance defense litigation experience. Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills. Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
