Associate Attorney- Tort and Insurance Defense

OVERVIEWWe are seeking a Litigation Associate with a minimum of 5 years of tort and insurance defense litigation experience. Based in our Hackensack office, this role offers immediate client contact and responsibility, with opportunities to work on complex litigation matters.KEY RESPONSIBILITIESRepresent clients in tort and insurance defense litigation mattersHandle depositions, motion practice, and court appearancesProvide strategic counsel and assume responsibility for client matters from the outsetDraft pleadings, discovery requests, and other litigation documentsCollaborate with partners and colleagues to develop case strategiesManage multiple assignments independently while maintaining attention to detailQUALIFICATIONSJuris Doctor (J.D.) with excellent academic credentialsAdmission to the New Jersey Bar required, NY is a plus but not requiredMinimum of 5 years of tort and insurance defense litigation experienceStrong written and verbal communication skillsProfessional judgment, problem-solving ability, and sound decision-making skillsProactive, resourceful, and committed to delivering high-quality workBenefits
