Your Responsibilities

• Conduct a range of clinical laboratory testsspanning chemistry, hematology, immunology, and morefollowing established guidelines and protocols.
• Evaluate test results for accuracy, troubleshoot any discrepancies, and ensure laboratory instruments are well maintained through preventative procedures and calibration.
• Participate in specimen collection and adeptly prepare samples for analysis as required.
• Thoroughly document procedures, mentor new team members or students, and maintain the quality standards of the lab environment.
• Ensure a safe, clean workspace while adhering to all regulatory and accreditation requirements.

Education

• A Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or an equivalent allied health degree, is preferred; ASCP/AMT certification preparation is also needed.

Certifications

• Obtaining ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) within one year of hire is required.
• Maintaining current certification throughout your employment is essential.
