A machining process just changed, so you coordinate with Training Specialists and SMEs to capture the update, route it through the proper approvals, and publish it across every relevant system—always in line with WFD revision control standards. Before lunch, you translate raw capability notes into structured skills matrix entries, standard documents, written evaluations, and compliance course assignments. In the afternoon, you assemble a trainee handbook for a new role, confirm access controls for recently approved docs to maintain audit compliance, and build a short e-learning module for a compliance topic in the LMS. At every step, accuracy and consistency are non-negotiable—your work directly affects what happens on the factory floor.What You’ll OwnEncode capability knowledge: Transform raw capability information into structured content: skills matrix records, standard documentation, written assessments, and compliance course assignments.Control content revisions: Manage updates as processes evolve, ensuring changes follow WFD revision control standards and are published correctly across all systems.Document new processes: Partner with Training Specialists and SMEs to understand new processes and produce documentation once they’re cleared for technician handoff.Build trainee handbooks: Define foundational knowledge per role and develop handbooks that introduce key concepts.Maintain documentation: Audit, reformat, and maintain training documents across active stations; publish approved content and manage access requests to preserve audit compliance.Administer the skills matrix: Enter, maintain, and update skills data and organizational requirements in the skills matrix platform according to defined structures.Run the LMS: Maintain compliance courses, make data edits as needed, and create e-learning content for compliance-related topics.Protect system hygiene: Keep documentation spaces, skills data, and certification records accurate, organized, and always audit-ready.About YouDetail-obsessed: You spot errors and gaps early, knowing that data accuracy influences training quality and audits.Translator of expertise: You convert inputs from SMEs, engineers, and governance teams into clear, structured, multi-system content.Revision steward: You treat documentation as a controlled asset and never publish outside approved standards.Systems fluent: You learn tools quickly and work with discipline across multiple platforms.Organized operator: You manage a queue of builds, updates, and admin tasks without losing track.Clear communicator: You collaborate effectively with SMEs and Training Leads, closing loops without heavy direction.What Will Set You ApartBackground in technical writing, instructional design, or LMS administration within manufacturing, engineering, or regulated environmentsExperience turning raw process data or engineering documentation into training contentFamiliarity with skills matrix platforms or structured competency frameworksProven success in roles where documentation accuracy and version control were non-negotiableManufacturing or engineering exposure and a genuine interest in knowledge structure and transferFamiliarity with AS9100 or ISO documentation standardsImpactWorkforce Systems is the central function within Workforce Development that unlocks new capabilities and enables scale across Hadrian’s factories.
