Occupational Therapist
Our School client is seeking a licensed occupational therapist (OT) in Carteret, NJ. Compensation- $80+ per hour. This opportunity is for students age 5-21. Love your work. Remarkable therapists. Choose Kaleidoscope.
Summary of client and responsibilities:
- Conduct evaluations to determine students' functional abilities and develop individualized therapy plans.
- Deliver direct and consultative occupational therapy to help students improve fine motor skills, sensory processing, and daily living tasks.
- Work with teachers, special education staff, and families to support student success in the classroom.
- Keep accurate records of evaluations, treatment plans, progress notes, and compliance reports.
- Participate in IEP meetings, providing input on accommodations and modifications for student success.
Required skills and experience:
- Must have a valid occupational therapy license in the state of NJ.
- Minimum of one year experience (preferred).
- Graduation from an accredited institution.
- NJ Department of Education certificate.
