Overview:
Ōnin Staffing is currently seeking a professional and dedicated School Janitor to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and healthy learning environment for students and staff. A strong focus will be placed on floor buffing, stripping, and upkeep of school floors , in addition to routine janitorial tasks.
- 2nd shift: 12:00pm-8:00pm or 2:00pm-10:00 pm
- Pay Rate: $11/hr

Responsibilities:
- Perform general cleaning duties, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming classrooms, offices, hallways, and common areas.
- Carry out floor care duties such as buffing, stripping, waxing, and maintaining floors to ensure they remain safe and presentable.
- Empty and clean trash receptacles, ensuring proper waste disposal.
- Clean and sanitize restrooms, replenishing supplies as needed.
- Maintain cleanliness of windows, doors, and other surfaces.
- Report any maintenance or repair needs to appropriate personnel.
- Follow established safety procedures and guidelines while performing tasks.
Skills and Experience:
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience in janitorial or custodial work, with specific knowledge of floor care techniques and equipment .
- Ability to work independently and efficiently.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Physical stamina to handle job demands, including lifting and standing for extended periods.
- Flexibility to work occasional evenings or weekends if required.
