Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist
• Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric setting preferred
• Strong skills in assessment, intervention planning, and progress monitoring
• Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, support staff, and families
• Clear communication and documentation abilities
• Adaptability, creativity, and a child-centered approach

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct and consultative occupational therapy services to students with a variety of needs
• Conduct assessments to determine students’ functional abilities within the academic setting
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans targeting fine motor, sensory, and self-care skills
• Deliver interventions in both individual and group settings, as needed
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to developing student goals and objectives
• Document therapy sessions, maintain compliance records, and communicate student progress
• Collaborate with classroom staff to integrate OT strategies and supports
• Serve as a resource for families and educators on student needs and accommodations
