Floater Pharmacist (Modified Hours)Provide professional pharmacy services, including filling prescriptions, counseling patients and supervising pharmacy technicians. Assure that all services comply with professional standards and applicable statutes and regulations. Demonstrate the company's core values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion and safety.Be dedicated to the overall pharmacy department success by executing strategy, motivating staff as the pharmacist-on-duty, setting priorities to maximize contribution, and seek feedback and opportunities for advancement.Perform all functions of a pharmacist and act as a role model for the pharmacy team; appropriately handle customer complaints and direct workflow to reduce customer wait timesFulfill customer's prescription needs while concentrating on the accuracy of every prescription filledEnsure pharmacies comply with all local, state and federal lawsMaintain a professional image through personal appearance, conduct and attitude and the physical condition of the pharmacy; adhere to pharmacy standards and enforce company dress standardsCreate a positive pharmacy department image through strong service, friendliness and cooperativeness with customers, associates and outside vendorsComply with all corporate mandated controlled substance operating proceduresSupervise pharmacy technicians when acting as the pharmacist-on-duty.Monitor stock replenishment, inventory levels, policies/procedures, record keeping, security, sanitation, scheduling, proper operation of all equipment, pricing, planograms, returns, budgets, reports to management, and product recalls per company policyMaintain proper records, inventory and security on all scheduled drugs (i.e controlled substances-narcotics)Provide direct patient clinical services, including immunizations, patient coaching services and medication therapy management.Follow procedures for handling pharmacy products from authorized sourcesEnsure all accuracy tools, including the accuracy scanner, are utilized appropriatelyEstablish/maintain all record keeping practices necessary for legal compliance, company policies, accounting policies and other requested reportsMaintain a clean, neat work area, including work counters, shelves, floors and the customer counter to present a professional, sanitary, organized image to customersEnsure all product returns are handled in a timely fashion and per company policyMaintain all equipment (e.g. computers, printers, accuracy scanners and cash registers) to ensure it remains in working conditionMaintain proper signing (e.g. store hours, services signs, pharmacists' photographs and names, and all other signs requested) in all areas necessaryMake a strong and continuous effort to broaden personal knowledge and pharmacy skillsMaintain the ability to work at multiple locations as needed.Must be able to perform the essential functions of this position with or without reasonable accommodation.As a salaried individual contributor, you are expected to demonstrate leadership from where you are by actively modeling the 5Es through your behaviors, contributions, and impact—playing a critical role in team success, culture, and results.Must be a licensed pharmacist, in good standing, within the state(s) of the region, as necessaryBachelor's degree in Pharmacy or PharmD.Immunization-certified through APhA and CPR-certified through an accredited, state-approved organizationEffective communication and interpersonal skillsNumerical and financial aptitudeCommitment to providing excellent customer serviceAbility to understand and solve complex problemsThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an associate to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
