As a Front Desk and Billing Representative, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our dental practice in Detroit, MI. You will be responsible for greeting patients, managing appointments, processing payments, and handling insurance claims. This position offers a friendly and supportive work environment, with opportunities for training and professional growth.

Schedule: We alternate our weekly schedule

• Week 1 - Monday - Thursday 9 am- 5 pm, and Friday: 9 - 2
• Week 2 - Monday - Wednesday 9 am - 5 pm, Thursday: off, Friday: 9 - 5, and Saturday: 9 - 2

Responsibilities:

• Warmly greet patients at our Detroit, MI office, ensuring they feel welcome and comfortable.
• Manage patient scheduling, including appointments and follow-ups.
• Answer and direct phone calls in a professional and courteous manner.
• Verify insurance eligibility and process claims accurately.
• Process patient payments and manage billing inquiries.
• Maintain patient records and ensure accurate data entry in our dental software systems.
• Collaborate with dental staff to ensure efficient office operations.

Qualifications:

• A minimum of 1 year of experience in a dental office setting is required
• Knowledge of dental codes and procedures is required
• Familiarity with Eaglesoft and Vine dental software systems is preferred but not required.
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills, with a commitment to delivering a warm, friendly patient experience.
• Strong organizational and time management abilities, with attention to detail.
• Proficiency in handling financial transactions and insurance claims.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations.
