We\'re seeking a Hiring Desk Analyst with a keen eye for detail and outstanding customer service skills. As the backbone of our hiring process, you\'ll handle crucial paperwork for civil service hires, making a direct impact on every new addition to our organization. You’ll be collaborating with internal stakeholders such as hiring managers and other hiring support staff providing update on the hire lifecycle and ongoing support. Additionally, you’ll be providing support for applicants with questions related to job advertisements. In this role, your day-to-day operations will demand exceptional organizational skills. You\'ll be responsible for maintaining a caseload of hires at different stages of the hiring lifecycle, requiring the ability to organize, track, and prioritize tasks effectively. Your role will be pivotal in ensuring the seamless progression of candidates through the hiring process, emphasizing the critical nature of your contribution to the next steps in securing top talent for our organization. This Position Carries Out The Following Duties: Coordinates the processing of Requests for Personnel Action (RPA) – the document that drives the hiring process; Utilizes a variety of systems and Excel logs, including the State of California’s Exam and Cert On-line System (ECOS); Administers the CCC’s Employee Opportunity Transfer and Post & Bid processes; Acts as the Filing Officer for the CCC’s Conflict of Interest Program; Responds to inquiries from applicants, hiring supervisors, and the public regarding advertised positions; and Acts as a backup for position control. Working Conditions Hybrid - This position is classified as "Hybrid" and eligible for up to one (1) day of telework per week, minimum of four (4) days in-office.
