Please connect with me on LinkedIn as well @Amanda Smothers Job Title: Legal Administrative Assistant - Litigation Work Environment: Hybrid (#2 of days WFH) / Remote Referral Fee: AMS will pay $500 should the person you refer gets hired Job Description: Our client, an AmLaw 200 firm, is looking to hire a Legal Administrative Assistant - Litigation at their offices in San Antonio, TX 78215. This is a fulltime, direct hire role paying an annual base salary of $60K to $70K plus an annual discretionary bonus and excellent benefits package. This position reports to the Office Manager, as well as assigned attorneys, and will work as part of a team. This is a hybrid position, requiring the LAA to be in the office three (3)days per week. Required Skills and Experience Candidates must have a minimum of 3years of litigationexperience. Providing the requisite legal secretarial and administrative support and clerical needs to assigned attorneys. Preparing letters, memos, and other legal documentation. Entering client information into the system to run conflicts checks for new clients, as well as preparation of supporting documentation such as engagement letters. Preparing and filing pleadings with the appropriate court system and docketing dates into a central docketing system, as needed. Making travel arrangements and preparing expense reimbursement documentation. Answering the phones of assigned attorneys; and Entering attorney time. Preferred Skills A track record of excellent communication skills and a commitment to providing the highest quality client service are strongly preferred. Qualifications Excellent computer skills utilizing all aspects of Office 365. Excellent attention to detail with superb proofreading skills. Ability to prioritize and manage a high-volume and diverse workload able to handle multiple tasks at one time with exceptional organizational skills. Must have sound judgment and business acumen when interacting with clients, potential clients, guests, coworkers, and others; and Certified Legal Secretary designation is a plus. #J-18808-Ljbffr
