Treasury Manager

Soni Resources is partnering with a scaling client near Lincroft, NJ, in the search for a Treasury Manager .


The Cash & Treasury Manager is responsible for overseeing the company's liquidity, treasury operations, banking relationships, and Asset-Based Lending (ABL) facilities. This role drives cash flow optimization, borrowing base compliance, availability forecasting, lender reporting, and treasury process improvements while leading automation initiatives that enhance efficiency, controls, and cash visibility. The position serves as the primary liaison with banks, ABL lenders, auditors, and key internal stakeholders.


Responsibilities:

• Manage daily liquidity, cash positioning, working capital, and short-term funding strategies across multiple banking relationships.
• Lead 13-week cash flow and availability forecasting, providing actionable insights to support operational and financing decisions.
• Oversee all aspects of ABL administration, including borrowing base reporting, collateral monitoring, lender compliance, availability forecasting, field exams, and appraisals.
• Serve as the primary contact for banking partners and ABL lenders, managing relationships, reporting requirements, treasury services, and financing activities.
• Develop, maintain, and strengthen treasury controls, payment governance, fraud prevention measures, and banking access administration.
• Drive treasury automation and process improvement initiatives, including bank connectivity, cash reporting, forecasting tools, ERP integrations, and reconciliation enhancements.
• Partner cross-functionally with Accounting, FP&A, AP, AR/Credit, Operations, and IT to improve cash forecasting accuracy, streamline processes, and support business growth.
• Ensure treasury activities, lender reporting, and supporting documentation remain accurate, compliant, and audit-ready.

• 5+ years of treasury, cash management, or corporate finance experience with direct Asset-Based Lending (ABL) exposure.
• Strong knowledge of borrowing base reporting, collateral management, availability forecasting, lender compliance, and field examinations.
• Experience managing banking relationships, treasury operations, cash forecasting, and working capital.
• Proven track record of implementing process improvements, automation initiatives, and treasury controls.
• Advanced Excel skills and experience with ERP systems, banking platforms, and treasury management tools.
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.

• Experience in wholesale, distribution, manufacturing, consumer products, or other inventory-intensive environments.
• Treasury system implementation, bank connectivity, cash forecasting, or finance transformation experience.
