Preferred qualifications Experience navigating large, globally distributed teams, with comfort and experience in shaping organization design for growing international hubs (e.g., APAC). Advocacy for UX systems thinking and quality, with experience identifying quality improvement opportunities that also satisfy business goals. As the UX Director for Google One, you’ll lead the experience for a fast‑growing subscription service and a critical investment area for Google. You will be responsible for leading and growing an industry‑leading, global UX organization, including design, research, and content disciplines. In addition to being a UX discipline leader, you will act as an organizational leader, evolving how the organization works and up‑levels with AI. The Platforms and Devices team encompasses Google’s various computing software platforms across environments (desktop, mobile, applications), as well as our first‑party devices and services that combine the best of Google AI, software, and hardware. Teams across this area research, design, and develop new technologies to make our users’ interaction with computing faster and more seamless, building innovative experiences for our users around the world. The US base salary range for this full‑time position is $275,000-$383,000 plus bonus, equity, and benefits. The salary range is determined by role, level, and location.
