Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist at Capstone Mind Wellness & Therapy, your essential duties will include:

• Conducting comprehensive evaluations to assess the intensity, frequency, and duration of your clients’ mood disorder symptoms.

• Collaboratively developing tailored treatment plans with clients, ensuring they align with their specific goals and personal preferences.

• Implementing evidence-based therapeutic interventions, focusing on modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to enhance client well-being.

• Educating clients and their families about mood disorders, treatment options, and self-care practices to empower them in their recovery journey.

• Regularly monitoring client progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to reflect their changing needs and challenges.

• Coordinating care with other health professionals to provide holistic, integrated treatment plans.

• Staying abreast of the latest research and developments in mood disorder treatments to enhance your therapeutic practice.

• Maintaining meticulous and confidential records in compliance with applicable legal and ethical guidelines.

• Participating in team meetings, case consultations, and various professional development opportunities to continuously refine your skills.

• Acting as an advocate for clients, providing support for mental health issues and working to diminish stigma around mental illness.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your practice will focus primarily on individuals experiencing mood disorders such as depression, anxiety, and bipolar disorder. Additionally, you will serve diverse demographics, including vulnerable populations such as the homeless, refugees, and survivors of domestic abuse, providing compassionate and culturally competent care.

Qualifications\n

• A valid and active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) is required.

• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field is mandatory.

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to foster trusting relationships with clients.

• Demonstrated empathy, understanding, and a nonjudgmental attitude toward clients’ challenges and experiences.

Preferred Experience\n

While not required, experience in treating clients with mood disorders, especially in a community health setting, is preferred. Familiarity with the social determinants of health and how they impact mental health can also be advantageous in delivering effective care.

Compensation and Benefits\n

Your expertise and contributions will be met with a competitive salary range of USD 70,000 – 90,000 annually, commensurate with qualifications and experience. Our offers include:
