Key Responsibilities:

• Assist classroom teachers in daily instructional activities, reinforcing lessons, and helping implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Offer one-on-one or small group support to students to promote understanding and engagement
• Supervise students in classrooms, during transitions, and on school grounds to ensure a safe environment
• Aid with personal care needs and behavior interventions as required
• Prepare materials and set up learning areas as directed by teaching staff
• Support classroom organization and management for optimal learning

Desired Skills and Experience:

• Prior experience as a paraprofessional or in a school support setting is highly valued
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for engaging positively with students and team members
• Ability to follow directions, maintain confidentiality, and adapt to a changing educational environment
• Comfortable working with students who have diverse learning needs and backgrounds
• Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for student success
• High school diploma or equivalent; some districts may require additional certifications or trainings
