Escrow Officer / Escrow Assistant
Location: Cincinnati, OH
Job Type: Full-time, on-site Our client, a well-established title and escrow organization, is seeking an experienced Escrow Officer / Escrow Assistant to support residential real estate transactions from initial processing through closing.
The ideal candidate has experience with escrow and closing procedures, excellent attention to detail, and a strong commitment to providing responsive, professional service to clients and real estate partners. Compensation
• $50,000-$65,000+ DOE
• Compensation is negotiable based on experience Responsibilities
• Coordinate and facilitate residential real estate closings
• Prepare escrow instructions, closing documents, and related title paperwork
• Receive, manage, and disburse escrow funds in accordance with legal and regulatory requirements
• Review transaction documents for accuracy, completeness, and compliance
• Coordinate with buyers, sellers, real estate agents, lenders, attorneys, and internal team members
• Communicate transaction status, outstanding requirements, and closing timelines to all parties
• Ensure escrow and title documents are processed accurately and within required deadlines
• Maintain organized and complete transaction files
• Address questions and help resolve issues that could delay closing
• Provide exceptional customer service throughout each transaction Qualifications
• Previous experience with real estate closings and escrow processes
• Knowledge of residential real estate transactions
• Notary certification or willingness to obtain it
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities
• Ability to manage multiple files, priorities, and deadlines simultaneously
• Proficiency with escrow or title production software is a plus
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Additional certifications in real estate, escrow, title, or a related field are advantageous
