The Opportunity

Magnify is seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable / Accounts Receivable Specialist to join a growing team supporting invoice auditing, vendor payments, and financial operations.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working with numbers, catching discrepancies, and ensuring financial transactions are accurate and processed efficiently.

We're looking for someone who can do more than simply process invoices. The ideal candidate understands how to review billing details, identify inconsistencies, and work with internal teams and external vendors to resolve issues.

What You'll Be Doing

• Review, audit, and reconcile vendor invoices to ensure accuracy and compliance with contractual agreements.
• Verify labor, materials, equipment charges, and timesheets against work orders and supporting documentation.
• Identify billing discrepancies, incorrect charges, and missing information before invoices are approved for payment.
• Communicate with vendors and internal stakeholders to resolve invoice discrepancies and payment-related issues.
• Track rejected invoices, corrections, and outstanding items to ensure timely resolution.
• Maintain accurate financial records and documentation throughout the invoice review process.
• Support construction and non-construction invoice auditing activities.
• Collaborate with internal teams to improve billing accuracy and streamline payment processes.
• Manage multiple invoices and deadlines while maintaining a high level of accuracy.

What We're Looking For

• 2+ years of experience in accounts payable, accounts receivable, invoice auditing, billing, or a related accounting function.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience reviewing invoices, reconciling charges, and identifying billing discrepancies.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work with financial documentation.
• Proficiency with computers and the ability to learn new software and accounting systems quickly.
• Excellent organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with internal teams and external vendors.

Experience That Will Help You Stand Out

• Previous experience with construction billing, contractor invoices, or work order reconciliation .
• Familiarity with reviewing labor, equipment, and material charges.
• Experience working with vendor contracts, purchase orders, or payment discrepancies.
• Background in invoice auditing, accounts payable operations, or financial administration.
