JOB DESCRIPTION

The Strategic Sourcing and Procurement Professional is a highly experienced Sourcing Lead in the development and execution of strategic sourcing strategies for complex goods and services. This role focuses 3rd Party Expense Management and Category Strategy for Technology Services and Operations (TSO) and IT Management Services.

They collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify cost-saving opportunities, manage supplier relationships, and negotiate favorable contract terms while ensuring compliance with company policies and best practices for the following categories of spend: FinOps, End User Support, Global Technology Operations such as Compute Storage and IaaS, Cloud Engineering, and Enterprise Technology (ETOC) such as Network Technologies, Digital Workplace Solutions, Endpoint Resilience, Endpoint Technology, and Collaboration Technology.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Sourcing Planning:

\n
• Conduct in-depth market research to identify potential suppliers and assess market trends.
\n
• Develop comprehensive sourcing strategies for assigned categories, including cost reduction targets, supplier selection criteria, and risk mitigation plans.
\n
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into clear sourcing requirements.
\n

RFx Management:

\n
• Lead the design and execution of Request for Information (RFI), Request for Quotation (RFQ), and Request for Proposal (RFP) processes.
\n
• Analyze supplier responses, evaluate proposals based on price, quality, delivery, and other relevant factors.
\n

Supplier Negotiation:

\n
• Develops negotiation strategies and leads negotiations of complex contract provisions
\n
• Conduct complex contract negotiations with suppliers, ensuring optimal pricing and terms while balancing risk and value.
\n
• Develop and manage master agreements, including legal terms and conditions.
\n

Relationship Management:

\n
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key internal stakeholders and suppliers. Ability to address supplier performance issues and driving continuous process improvement.
\n
• Monitor supplier performance against contractual obligations and KPIs.
\n

Cost Optimization:

\n
• Analyze spend data to identify cost-saving opportunities and implement strategic sourcing initiatives.
\n
• Utilize cost modeling and total cost of ownership (TCO) analysis to evaluate sourcing options.
\n

Stakeholder Management:

\n
• Communicate sourcing strategies and progress to internal stakeholders, including senior management.
\n
• Proactively manage expectations and address concerns related to sourcing activities.
\n

REQUIRED SKILLS

Sourcing Expertise:

\n
• 7+ years of advanced strategic sourcing experience with mastery of strategic and tactical procurement principles, practices, and models.
\n
• Deep understanding of sourcing principles, sourcing methodologies, and contract law.
\n

Analytical Skills:

\n
• Proficiency in data analysis, spend analytics, and financial modeling to identify cost savings opportunities.
\n

Negotiation Skills:

\n
• Proven ability to negotiate complex contracts and achieve favorable terms for the organization.
\n

Market Knowledge:

\n
• Extensive knowledge of relevant supplier markets, industry trends, and competitive landscape.
\n

Communication and Relationship Management:

• Strong written and verbal communication skills; strong presentation skills to all audience levels, including the ability to effectively conduct complex project/program meetings and influence others
