LPN - School Nurse

We are seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to support students in a school setting, including health room and district-wide roles. Key responsibilities include managing students with chronic diseases and disabilities, providing emergency crisis nursing care, and conducting physical health assessments such as vision, hearing, dental, and nutritional screenings. The nurse will also offer health education, counsel students, parents, and staff on health-related issues, and maintain comprehensive health documentation to ensure compliance with policies and regulations. Qualifications include current LPN/LVN licensure, a valid health certificate, PPD or chest X-ray, and BLS certification. Prior experience is preferred. Skills required are strong assessment abilities, knowledge of communicable disease prevention, and effective communication for health education and counseling.
