Fixed Asset Accountant

Senior Fixed Asset AccountantWe're seeking an experienced Senior Fixed Asset Accountant to support the accounting and financial management of a diverse fixed asset portfolio for a growing company in an asset-intensive industry.Responsibilities:Perform fixed asset accounting across all asset classes, including capitalization, depreciation, transfers, and disposals in compliance with U.S. GAAPMaintain fixed asset registers and depreciation schedulesTrack and analyze total cost of ownership (TCO) across the asset portfolio, including maintenance, insurance, and operating costsSupport month-end, quarterly, and annual close with fixed asset journal entries and account reconciliationsAssist with asset performance reporting, including utilization and ROI analysis for capital investmentsMaintain asset records and documentation to support regulatory and compliance requirementsSupport internal controls related to fixed assets and capital expenditures, including physical inventory auditsAssist with audit requests related to fixed asset mattersPartner cross-functionally with operations and facilities teams to ensure accurate capture of asset-related costsQualifications:Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required; CPA or CMA a plus3-5+ years of progressive accounting experience with meaningful focus on fixed asset accountingExperience in an asset-intensive industry (equipment, construction, manufacturing, or similar) is a strong plusStrong analytical skillsProficiency with ERP/accounting systems and fixed asset softwareStrong cross-functional communication and collaboration skills
