Logistics Coordinator

Bilgewater Group is a Chicago-based diversified services company founded in 2003. We operate across two core divisions: food service and care.

Our food service division manages a network of quick-service and counter-service locations across the greater Chicagoland area, serving thousands of customers every day at high-traffic venues, including commercial districts, transit hubs, and retail centers.

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for a Logistics Coordinator to help coordinate day-to-day logistics activities, track orders and deliveries, and keep information flowing between internal teams, locations, and external partners. This role is ideal for someone organized, responsive, and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a remote environment.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Coordinate orders, deliveries, and routine logistics requests

• Track shipments, deliveries, and scheduled activities

• Communicate with vendors, locations, and internal teams regarding logistics needs

• Maintain accurate delivery, order, and logistics records

• Follow up on delays, missing information, or delivery issues

• Update spreadsheets and internal systems with logistics information

• Support the resolution of routine logistics and scheduling issues

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

• Previous experience in logistics, operations, administration, customer service, or a similar role

• Strong organization and attention to detail

• Good communication and follow-up skills

• Comfortable working with spreadsheets and digital systems

• Ability to manage multiple requests and deadlines

• Practical problem-solving skills and a proactive approach

• Comfortable working independently in a fully remote environment

• Reliable internet connection and workspace

• Legally authorized to work in the United States

NICE TO HAVE

• Previous logistics or transportation coordination experience

• Experience with inventory, order management, or scheduling systems

• Experience in food service, retail, hospitality, or distribution

COMPENSATION

$45,000–$60,000 per year , depending on experience and qualifications.

Salary Range: 45,000 - 60,000 USD (gross, annually)
