Title
Registered Nurse - Telemetry / Step-Down

Schedule
Weekend requirement: every other weekend (Saturday and Sunday)

Assignment Details
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Guaranteed Hours: Yes

Requirements
- Minimum 2 years RN experience
- Travel experience required
- Telemetry / step-down experience required
- Cardiac telemetry and EKG/dysrhythmia interpretation experience
- Required: ACLS, BLS
- Experience with telemetry monitoring and EKG interpretation
- Knowledge of cardiac drips and post-cardiac procedure care
- Management of central lines/PICCs/ports and post-procedure monitoring
- Familiarity with respiratory support: HFNC, BiPAP/CPAP
- Experience with EPIC charting system

Roles & Responsibilities
- Monitor and interpret cardiac telemetry rhythms and vital signs.
- Administer medications and manage IV therapies according to protocols.
- Provide post-procedural care for patients undergoing cardiac interventions.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to create and implement patient care plans.
- Educate patients and families on diagnosis and treatment plans.

Compliance / Notes
- Maximum 7 days of Requested Time Off per 13-week contract; no RTO allowed first week.
- Local candidates within a 75-mile radius are not eligible.
- Pending licenses accepted as per location rules.
- Required labs to be completed within 48-72 hours of signing.
- Pre-start modules must be completed per facility timeline.
- COVID-19 vaccine not required; Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions allowed).
- Parking fee: $15/day or $70/month.
- Scrub color: Navy Blue.
