Primary Care Physician

About the Role Join CenterWell Primary Care, a subsidiary of Humana Inc., to serve primary care patients at the Desoto, TX clinic. You will take a hands‑on approach to patient care and address the effects of social determinants of health on outcomes. Day in the Life Monday–Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm. On‑site, in‑person at the CenterWell Senior Primary Care Clinic (Desoto). See 12–15 patients per day with 45‑minute appointments. Spend 100% of your time clinically focused on direct patient care, including patient‑facing time and general administrative time related to direct care. Qualifications Doctor of Medicine or Osteopathic Medicine, board‑certified or board‑eligible in Geriatric Medicine, Family Medicine, or Internal Medicine. Valid, unrestricted license in the state of employment (or willing to obtain). Current, unrestricted DEA license. Preferred Qualifications Minimum of two years of experience; 1+ years managing a Medicare Advantage panel. Knowledge of Medicare guidelines and coverage. Knowledge of HEDIS quality indicators. Fluent in Spanish and English. Compensation and Benefits Guaranteed base salary and bi‑annual bonus.
