As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a government location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, support access control, and provide outstanding customer service. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license. Pay Rate: $22.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and members of the public at a government location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and public emergency services as directed by site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned government buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify conditions requiring attention.
• Monitor access points and assist with visitor entry procedures, badge verification, and directions in accordance with site policies.
• Prepare clear and accurate activity, incident, and patrol reports, and communicate relevant observations to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
