Financial Analyst

Financial Analyst Our client is a Fortune 500 financial and payments technology company that leads the industry in innovation, scale, and service. They are hiring a Financial Analyst. The role is based in Atlanta, GA and is a hybrid schedule: 100% onsite during the 6‑8 week training period followed by a hybrid schedule of three days a week. Summary Planning & Forecasting: Participate in corporate planning, budgeting, forecasting, and annual and long‑range planning to support key operating segments, sales channels, and functional areas. Reporting: Provide accurate, timely, and actionable financial reporting and key business metrics to business and operating teams. Gain insights into trends with meaningful analyses, contribute to the monthly accounting close & reporting process, and support finance’s goal of continuously improving the quality, efficiency, and value of financial information produced via tools, operational efficiencies, and automation. Other Duties: Additional training in IT systems and software will be provided to successful candidates where necessary. Responsibilities Create infrastructure and build‑out around tech initiatives and tech‑dependent wave initiatives. Communicate with initiative owners around actuals tracking (financially), and assist with KPI and milestone tracking. Create reporting around variance analysis on a monthly or possibly weekly basis. Essential Skills and Experience Tertiary degree in finance or commerce. 3+ years of experience working in financial analysis, accounting, management consulting, or similar. Strong business acumen and commercial awareness. Strong desire to learn and grow professionally. Commitment to quality and attention to detail. Proactive approach to problem solving, process improvement, and ability to execute tasks effectively while managing competing priorities. Desirable Skills and Experience Proven track record in financial analysis and modeling. Ability to identify and understand key drivers of business performance. Strong relationship, communication, and influencing skills to work effectively with leadership and cross‑functional teams. Self‑driven, organized, detail‑oriented, and able to multi‑task in a fast‑paced environment. Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to communicate with team and top management, and strong presentation skills.
