The Hibachi Chef will expertly prepare and grill food in a lively kitchen environment, contributing to a dynamic team of 4-7 chefs. Reporting directly to the Head Chef, this role requires skillful food preparation and grilling techniques to deliver exceptional dining experiences. The position involves working flexible shifts including regular evenings, weekends, and standard daytime hours.
Responsibilities
- Prepare ingredients and food for hibachi-style cooking
- Grill and cook food to order with precision and speed
- Maintain cleanliness and organization at the cooking station
- Collaborate effectively with a medium-sized kitchen team
- Follow health and safety guidelines during food handling and preparation
- Support the Head Chef with kitchen operations as needed
Preferred Qualifications
- 1+ years experience in culinary arts
- Strong food preparation skills
- Proficiency with knife skills
- Ability to work well within a team
