MIG Welder - $18-$22/hr | Day Shift | Fort Worth, TX


Pay: $18-$22/hour, based on experience
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM-3:30 PM
Location: Fort Worth, TX
Opportunity: Contract-to-Hire


Express Employment Professionals is hiring an experienced MIG Welder for a commercial roofing component manufacturer in the Fort Worth area. This position is ideal for a welder who has hands-on experience working with mild steel and aluminum , can read blueprints, and takes pride in producing accurate, high-quality welds.

MIG Welder Responsibilities

• Perform MIG welding on mild steel and aluminum components
• Weld and assemble various metal constructions according to specifications
• Read and interpret drawings, blueprints, measurements, and work instructions
• Inspect completed welds for quality, accuracy, and structural integrity
• Perform quality control checks on welded materials
• Operate cutting saws, grinders, welding machines, and other fabrication tools
• Prepare, fit, and position materials prior to welding
• Maintain a clean and safe work area
• Follow all company safety procedures and production standards

MIG Welder Qualifications

• Previous MIG welding experience required
• Experience welding both mild steel and aluminum
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and fabrication instructions
• Experience using grinders, cutting saws, and standard welding equipment
• Ability to accurately measure and fit metal components
• Strong attention to weld quality and workmanship
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently
• Dependable attendance and ability to work the full Monday-Friday schedule
