RN - Outpatient Clinic

Registered Nurse – Adult Medical Oncology

This is a 13-week contract position.

Day shift, 5x7.5-hour schedule (08:00 - 16:00).

The role involves providing comprehensive nursing care for patients in adult medical oncology, including but not limited to gastrointestinal, genitourinary, breast, head and neck, neuro, thoracic, lymphoma, and leukemia patients, as well as GYN oncology and classic hematology.

Responsibilities:

• Perform bone marrow biopsies in the clinic.
• Administer GYN oncology procedures such as pap smears, biopsies, colposcopies, and pelvic exams.
• Manage and access central lines, perform blood draws, and administer neupogen and hormonal therapy.
• Provide colostomy care and comfort measures for patients with various hematological conditions.
• Chart patient information using Epic.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience in adult medical oncology.
• Active RN license in New Jersey or a compact license.
• BLS certification is required.
• Experience with Epic charting system is mandatory.
