Product Specialist — Toyota in Easley, SC

$80,000 first-year target earnings · base draw + volume bonus · No haggling

The short version

We sell 150+ new and used Toyota's a month. The traffic is already here — floor ups, internet leads, service drive, and a repeat/referral base built over 30 years. We don't need someone to hunt. We need someone who knows the product cold, treats people well, and closes without a fight.

That's what a Product Specialist does here. You're not a "car salesman" in the way you're picturing. You don't negotiate prices, and you don't chase people down. You demonstrate vehicles, answer real questions, and guide the customer through a transparent process.

What you'll actually do

• Greet and work with customers who are already on the lot or already scheduled — floor traffic, appointments, and service-drive opportunities
  
• Know the lineup at a professional level: Tacoma, Tundra, RAV4, Grand Highlander, 4Runner, Camry, Corolla, Sequoia, and the full hybrid/electrified range
  
• Deliver structured product demonstrations and test drives — including Toyota Safety Sense, hybrid powertrain differences, towing and payload, and trim-to-trim comparisons
  
• Explain the numbers clearly using our one-price/transparent pricing model — no back-and-forth, no "let me go talk to my manager" theater
  
• Set up the customer's technology at delivery (Toyota app, phone pairing, driver-assist settings) so they leave confident
  
• Follow up on your own sold and unsold customers through our CRM — consistently, not sporadically
  
• Complete Toyota certification training and stay current as the lineup changes
  
• Protect our CSI scores. Every delivery is a future repeat or referral
  

Compensation

• Bonuses: CSI/survey bonus, TCUV bonus, monthly manufacturer spiffs
  
• Realistic first-year target: $80,000–$90,000. Top Product Specialists here earn $120,000+
  
• Guarantee: $4000/month for your first 90 days while you ramp

Requirements

• Strong communication skills and a professional, customer-first presence
  
• Basic comfort with technology — CRM, mobile apps, vehicle infotainment
  
• Valid driver's license with an insurable driving record
  
• High school diploma or equivalent
  
• Ability to work Saturdays
  
• No automotive experience required. We've hired successfully out of hospitality, retail, fitness, wireless, and the military. We'll teach you the product and the process — bring the work ethic and the personality.
