Technician I

Technician I's are responsible for performing core aeration or aeration and overseeding services to improve lawn health and promote growth. This entry-level role requires basic lawn care knowledge, the ability to operate aeration equipment, and a strong commitment to delivering quality service. Education: High school diploma or GED preferred. Experience: No experience required. Previous experience in lawn care, landscaping, or chemical application is a plus but not required; training will be provided. Skills: Ability to work independently and efficiently manage assigned routes. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work. Good communication and customer service skills. Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions. Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. Ability to complete company-provided training, including safety and chemical application protocols. General Responsibilities: Perform core aeration or aeration and overseeding services on residential and commercial lawns as assigned. Safely operate and maintain aerators, spreaders, and other lawn care equipment. Load, unload, and transport equipment and materials to and from job sites. Assist in preparing lawns for services, including clearing debris and identifying obstacles. Communicate effectively with clients to explain services performed and answer basic questions. Maintain accurate records of work completed, equipment usage, and site conditions. Follow all company safety protocols, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE). Assist with routine maintenance and cleaning of equipment. Support team members as needed to ensure efficient completion of daily schedules. Maintain accurate logs for each property serviced, including products used and observations of lawn conditions. Assist with warehouse organization, inventory management, and loading/unloading of equipment and materials.
