Clinical Pharmacist Lead

Become a part of our caring community As the Clinical Pharmacy Lead you will monitor drug development pipeline, and medical literature, while providing clinical support for internal stakeholders. Utilize broad understanding of managed care and PBM knowledge to develop, and/or implement strategies and programs to reduce cost trend and improve health outcomes. As a Clinical Pharmacy Lead you will work on problems of diverse scope and complexity ranging from moderate to substantial. You will report to a leader and be a part of the HPS Clinical Program Strategy team. You will: Develop, and operationalize formularies related to coverage, utilization management edits, or clinical coverage policies for pharmacy and medical administered drug products. Conduct analysis on drug use trends to evaluate and inform formulary strategies. Collaborate on research projects and develop proposals for research projects. Develop corporate communications to be shared with senior leadership. Support trend management by conducting analysis of drug spend, utilization, and/or approval scenarios. Advise executives to develop functional strategies (often segment specific) on matters of significance. Exercise independent judgment and decision making on complex issues regarding job responsibilities and related tasks, and works under minimal supervision, use independent judgment requiring analysis of variable factors and determining the best course of action. Use your skills to make an impact Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree Must have an active Pharmacist license with the Board of Pharmacy in the appropriate state Successful track record in facilitating and consulting across teams and managing projects Expertise in working collaboratively and communicating with staff in different positions and all levels of management positions What Makes You Stand Out Amongst the Rest Pharm D Master's Degree in Business Administration or a related field Experience with Microsoft Access & Microsoft Project Experience with pharmacy benefits and health benefits Work at Home Requirements To ensure Home or Hybrid Home/Office employees' ability to work effectively, the self-provided internet service of Home or Hybrid Home/Office employees must meet the following criteria: At minimum, a download speed of 25 Mbps and an upload speed of 10 Mbps is required; wireless, wired cable or DSL connection is suggested. Scheduled Weekly Hours 40 Pay Range The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc. $138,900 - $191,000 per year This job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan. This incentive opportunity is based upon company and/or individual performance.
