In this role, you will provide product and service solutions to customers in the paper and tissue industry and lead strategic planning to expand target product market share. The role will focus on strategically driven business growth, value selling and pricing, and will require product expertise, service sourcing/development, and parts sourcing. The role includes technical and selling leadership skills, including an ongoing analysis of the Andritz market position in each of these areas.Key Responsibilities:Responsible for the profitability and growth of the Engineered Parts and Solutions product linePromote solutions for customer needsEnsure the efficient execution of inquiries and ordersProvide technical and commercial direction to the sales force; develop proposals, product costing, and pricingManage production & purchasing decisions with a focus on the competitive impact and profitabilityMaintain annual budget and develop strategic solutions with other product groupsMaintain an understanding of the market and competitor landscape and craft a strategy to grow market share in target products and marketsDevelop marketing and promotion strategiesQualifications (Required):Post-Secondary level education, in paper technology, engineering, automation, technology, or similar3+ years technical sales, service and/or product management experienceExperience in the pulp and paper industry is preferred.Solid mechanical aptitude with the ability to interpret and work from engineering drawingsAbility to work with minimal supervision in the field both independently and with Service TechniciansHave a service mindset and customer focusSelf-motivated, able to handle multiple tasks and manage prioritiesFamiliarity with Office 365 productsBasic working knowledge AutoCAD is advantageousFamiliarity with SAP is advantageousAdditional spoken languages such as French is a benefitAll qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, or disability.
