As a member of a small finance team, you're detail-oriented and comfortable managing your own priorities, and you meet deadlines during a high-volume monthly close cycle. This role will report to the Senior Manager of Revenue Accounting.This is a full time role that can be held from one of our US hubs or remotely in the United States.What you’ll do at Figma:Timely and accurate execution of monthly revenue accounting close activities and deliverables (i.e. journal entries, deal review, and reporting)Collaborate cross functionally with business partners, including Sales and Legal, during contract negotiations and provide accounting guidance in order to ensure proper revenue recognitionReview revenue contracts in detail, identifying and documenting any non-standard terms to ensure accurate revenue recognition in accordance with company policy and ASC 606Author, update, and maintain revenue recognition policies and accounting memos to support Figma contract structuresDevelop scalable revenue accounting processes and drive automation initiatives in partnership with Finance, Legal, Sales, and EngineeringContribute to special projects, system enhancements, UAT, and ad hoc analyses as business needs evolveWe'd love to hear from you if you have:4+ years of combined experience in public accounting and/or corporate revenue accountingExperience working in a high-growth SaaS technology environmentStrong, up-to-date knowledge of ASC 606, including reviewing and interpreting contractsExcellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with strong attention to detail and accuracyAdvanced proficiency in ExcelWhile not required, it’s an added plus if you also have:Experience with revenue systems implementations or automation projectsExperience with an ERP system, preferably NetsuiteCPA candidate preferredAt Figma, one of our values is Grow as you go.
