Valtir is hiring a Senior Equipment Operator to support our Fort Worth, TX manufacturing facility.

Valtir is dedicated to bringing the next generation of innovative safety products to an ever-changing market.
The Sr. Equipment Operator sets up and operates production machines to cut, bend, straighten, or form parts as specified by blueprints, lay-up sequence, and/or templates.
Location: Ft. Worth, TX
Starting rate $20-$23 per hour.
Full-time: M-F, 5am to 1:30pm
What you’ll do:
- Set up and operate most production machines to cut, bend, straighten, or form parts as specified by blueprints, layup sequence and/or templates
- Perform preventive maintenance and minor troubleshooting
- Operate at least 3 pieces of equipment (shear, punch press, break press, saw, drill press, roller)
- Proficiently read blueprints
- Follow all safety rules and practices
- May be involved in safety committees or initiatives
- Perform other duties as assigned
What you’ll need:
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- Minimum of 2 year of experience
- Ability to read blueprints
- Ability to operate three of the following equipment types: press break, shear, punch press, saw drill press or roller
- Ability to understand the technical aspects of the job
- Ability to follow verbal or simple written instructions and procedures
- Ability to measure accurately
- Ability to safely and efficiently perform all essential functions
- Ability to follow directions and maintain a professional work environment
- Good communication skills and the ability to work within a teamwork environment
- Regular and predictable attendance
- Must be able to lift 60 lbs. Must be able to work in a manufacturing facility standing most of the day.
