Highlights Pay: $64.85/hour Location: New York, NY Facility: Mount Sinai Hospital Department/Unit: GP 9 Center Schedule: Part-Time, Night shift What You'll Do Deliver patient care by applying the nursing process based on theory, research, and evidence-based practice. Assess and evaluate patient care needs using critical thinking skills. Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to develop and implement care plans. Educate patients and caregivers about their plan of care and health promotion. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and team members. Manage assignments within the Care Delivery Model of Modified Primary Nursing. Role model the tenets of Mount Sinai Relationship Centered Care. Practice safe and efficient patient-centered care, identifying opportunities for improvement. Perform charge nurse duties as assigned. Document nursing practice accurately to support quality improvement initiatives. Requirements Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) required; Associate’s Degree in Nursing (ADN) acceptable if matriculated in a BSN program. Experience: Relevant clinical competence in the area of nursing practice assigned; new graduates must possess current knowledge of the nursing process.
