Project ManagerWe are representing a mechanical contractor seeking a Project Manager with strong experience in HVAC, plumbing, and process piping systems. This role involves leading project execution from concept through closeout, coordinating internal departments, and managing field labor. The ideal candidate is a proactive leader with a background in both technical operations and client relationship management. Plumbing and process piping experience is preferred.Key ResponsibilitiesProject ManagementServe as the primary point of contact between the company and the client throughout the project lifecycleManage all phases of project delivery, including engineering, estimating, procurement, and final executionOversee field labor coordination and installation sequencing with field supervisorsHandle financial forecasting and cost tracking, and ensure projects remain within budgetDraft proposals, change orders, contracts, and strategic plans to support project objectivesMonitor billing and job costs for financial transparency and accuracyClient & Team CollaborationLead client meetings and guide contract development to close sales opportunitiesMaintain strong working relationships with vendors, subcontractors, and partnersCollaborate with Engineering, Accounting, Purchasing, Service, and Field Operations to ensure seamless executionParticipate in strategic and technical planning efforts to support team growth and estimating best practicesCommunication & LeadershipParticipate in weekly sales and construction meetingsCoordinate and lead project kickoff sessions with internal and field teamsLeverage internal resources to meet client expectations and project milestonesMentor team members and support ongoing training, hiring, and development initiativesContribute to special projects as directed by leadershipQualificationsBachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field preferred5+ years of experience in HVAC and mechanical project management, including estimating and field coordinationProven experience managing projects ranging from $50K to $25M+Plumbing and process piping experience highly preferredAbility to manage projects independently while supporting team goalsStrong interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skillsProficiency with Microsoft Office and construction-related software platformsCompensation & BenefitsCompetitive salary based on experienceMedical, dental, and vision insurance401(k) with employer matchPaid time off and holidaysVehicle allowance and phone reimbursementProfessional development opportunities and long-term growth potential
