To deliver spectacular experiences worldwide.The Associate Project Manager is responsible for supporting the successful delivery of audiovisual systems integration projects by coordinating project activities, managing schedules, budgets, and resources, and ensuring projects are completed on time, within scope, and to Solotech quality standards. Working under the guidance of a Senior Project Manager and the Director, the Associate Project Manager will build independence while delivering exceptional customer experiences and successful project outcomes.Your day will look like this:Collaborate with the Sales and Design teams to assist in developing project scopeCreate and execute project communication plans tailored to each project's needsDevelop and manage project schedules while coordinating internal and external resourcesAssist in identifying, managing, and resolving project risks with guidance from Senior Project Managers and leadershipFacilitate internal and external project kickoff meetings with cross-functional teams, customers, and third-party vendorsBuild and maintain strong relationships with customers and key stakeholdersManage project budgets and monitor equipment, labor, subcontractor, and miscellaneous costs throughout the project lifecycleIdentify project issues impacting profitability and communicate risks to leadershipPlan, manage, and coordinate procurement activities, including subcontractors, rentals, and material ordersEnsure project deliverables meet Solotech quality standards and customer expectationsManage project scope changes in accordance with established change order proceduresCoordinate system programming, commissioning, and final system checkoutDevelop and manage punch lists through project completionCoordinate customer training and project turnover to clients, Service, and Sales teamsPrepare and provide project closeout documentation for future service supportSupervise and monitor project teams to ensure project milestones are achievedMaintain regular communication and project updates with Solotech leadershipPromote a safe work environment through compliance with health and safety requirementsTravel to customer sites as requiredOther duties as assignedYour profile:High school diploma requiredDegree in Business Administration, Management, or equivalent project coordination experience is considered an assetCAPM or other project management certification is considered an assetAVIXA CTS certification is considered an assetMinimum one (1) year of experience in the audiovisual, construction, or related industry preferredMinimum two (2) years of project management or project coordination experienceExperience leading projects and coordinating cross-functional teamsProficiency with Office365 (Word, Excel, Outlook)Experience working with all levels of managementExperience reading AutoCAD drawings is considered an assetStrong interpersonal and communication skillsExcellent organizational and time management skills with exceptional attention to detailCreative problem-solving and analytical abilitiesPreferred Knowledge:Working knowledge of audio, video, and lighting systemsFamiliarity with low-voltage electrical systemsKnowledge of construction site operations, safety requirements, and compliance practicesUnderstanding of project management methodologies and softwareKnowledge of project financials, including budgets, revenue, and marginsAbility to interpret technical, contractual, and construction documentsPhysical Requirements:This is not an all-inclusive list but is intended to give an overview of the requirements for this position.
