Employee Benefits Account Executive

OverviewWe're representing a high-performance employee benefits consulting team seeking an experienced Account Executive to join their growing group. This strategic, client-facing role is ideal for someone with a deep understanding of employee benefits, strong technical capabilities, and a consultative mindset.You'll play a pivotal role in onboarding, renewals, and performance improvement initiatives while supporting clients across a broad range of benefit solutions. The firm offers rare access to niche markets and specialized knowledge, empowering you to grow and thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.What You'll Be DoingAs a senior member of the team, you'll take full ownership of assigned accounts and deliver strategic advisory services to clients. Key responsibilities include:Leading client onboarding and renewal cycles with precision and proactivityManaging key client relationships with HR teams, executive leaders, and vendor partnersConducting plan analysis, cost-containment reviews, and benchmarkingOverseeing system workflows in platforms like Employee Navigator and HubSpotCollaborating with internal and external stakeholders to ensure delivery of client goalsIdentifying new opportunities for expanded service offeringsCore FunctionsServe as a strategic advisor, bringing consultative insight to plan design and performanceAnalyze client data to uncover trends and develop actionable strategiesNavigate complex benefits issues and drive resolution through critical thinkingSupport compliance with ACA, COBRA, and other regulatory frameworksMaintain relationships with carriers and vendors, reviewing and negotiating proposalsPrepare benefit summaries, client presentations, and recommendationsEnsure proper documentation in compliance with E&O standardsActively participate in client and carrier meetings (virtual and occasional in-person)What You BringRequired:5+ years of experience in employee benefits (broker, carrier, or consultancy)Advanced understanding of funding structures, especially self-insured plansHands-on expertise with Employee Navigator and benefit system implementationActive Life, Health, and Accident licenseDemonstrated ability to resolve issues through root cause analysis and problem-solvingPreferred:Familiarity with Applied Epic, HubSpot, FormFire, Zywave, or similar platformsKnowledge of payroll systems (e.g., ADP, Paychex)Bilingual in English and SpanishProject management experience or trainingWhy Join This TeamThis organization prioritizes flexibility, autonomy, and growth.
