This position will be located in Roy, UT and will support the Sentinel (GBSD) program.What You Will Get To Do:Develop customer contractual needs and requirements into test solutions that acknowledges technical schedule and cost constraints. Develop and direct preparation and execution of comprehensive test plans, procedures and schedules. Review and evaluate test requirements for completeness of test program. Coordinate with Subject Matter Experts, Element Test teams, System Test teams, and other stakeholders to identify test objectives, test requirements, and risks that require test to mitigate. Supporting development of instrumentation requirements for Hardware in the Loop testing. Identify test support requirements and coordinate with Design & Integration team for budget and personnel needs. Overseeing test activities in support or requirement verification and validation. Conduct daily briefing and approve test start for each test event. Approve Break of Configuration on the test floor. Conduct tabletop reviews and dry run test procedures with test team prior to execution. Coordinate and conduct Technical and Safety Review Boards, and Test Readiness Reviews. Support customer Test Plan Working Groups. Prepare Test Planning Team charters. Coordinate with Quality organization for test support. Review and approve major test amendments. Utilize excellent communication, interpersonal skills, and the ability to interface with all levels of employees and management. Working well in a team environment, collaborate with multiple engineering teams to define test objectives and requirements for test activities in a hardware in the loop lab.Basic QualificationsPrincipal Systems Test Engineer (T-03): 5 years of relevant experience with a Bachelor’s of Science; or 3 years with a Master’s Degree; or 0 years with a PhSenior Principal Systems Test Engineer (T-03):8 Years with Bachelors in Science; 6 Years with Masters; 4 Years with PhDFor both:US Citizenship with an Active Secret Clearance or higher (awarded within the past 6 years) with the ability to receive a Special Access Program (SAP) certificationWorking knowledge of system integration (HW and SW) and test principlesExperience developing and executing integrated hardware and software testingExperience defining test objectives based on test requirements, VCRM and interface and specification documentationExperience with data collection/instrumentation (methods, setup, checkout, and troubleshooting)Experience in troubleshooting anomalous hardware and softwareExperience with development of test plans, procedures, and reports (functional testing and checkout)Excellent communication, interpersonal skills, and the ability to interface with all levels of employees and managementExcellent technical writing skillsWorks well in a team environmentProficiency in MS OfficePreferred Qualifications: Active DoD Top Secret/SCI level clearance granted or re-investigated within last 6 yearsExperience working with or designing Electrical Ground Support Equipment (EGSE) or Automated Test equipment (development and execution)Experience with developing/leading technologies and integrating them into aerospace vehicle systems for defense applicationsExperience with aerodynamic performance of missiles and construction of materialsUnderstanding of aerodynamics, vehicle dynamics, and controlFlight Test Instrumentation design/development experienceExperience in design, maintenance, and/or troubleshooting of test cables, test sets and support equipmentExperience with Model Based System Engineering with an understanding of DODAF and SysMLProficiency in DOORS and CameoExperience working with the Atlassian Suite of tools (Confluence, Jira)Experience with integration and test of large-scale vehicles or weapon systemsExperience as acting Test Conductor/Lead during test procedure executionFamiliarity with ICBMsAs a full-time employee of Northrop Grumman, you are eligible for our robust benefits package including: Medical, Dental & Vision coverage 401k Educational Assistance Life Insurance Employee Assistance Programs & Work/Life Solutions Paid Time Off Health & Wellness Resources Employee Discounts This position’s standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off.#SentinelintandtestPrimary Level Salary Range: $89,400.00 - $134,200.00Secondary Level Salary Range: $111,700.00 - $167,500.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results.
