Air & Ocean Freight Specialist

We are hiring an Air & Ocean Import Export Specialist to manage international freight shipments from booking through final delivery. This role is ideal for a freight forwarding operator with hands-on experience across air freight, ocean freight, imports, exports, documentation, customer updates, carrier coordination, and shipment milestones. Responsibilities Coordinate air and ocean import/export shipments from start to finish Prepare and review shipping documentation, including bills of lading, invoices, packing lists, and AES filings Work with carriers, airlines, truckers, customs brokers, warehouses, and overseas agents Track shipments, update customers, and resolve delays or exceptions Maintain accurate shipment records in CargoWise or similar freight forwarding systems Support routing, bookings, delivery coordination, and operational issue resolution Requirements 2+ years of freight forwarding or international logistics experience Air and ocean import/export operations experience Knowledge of shipping documents, Incoterms, customs coordination, and carrier processes Strong communication, organization, and customer service skills Benefits Medical, dental, and vision coverage 401(k) PTO Long-term career progression within international freight forwarding #J-18808-Ljbffr Altius Talent | Freight Forwarding Recruitment
