Aerospace Assembler II - Weekend Shift (36 Hrs. + 4 Comp Hrs.)

SEKISUI Aerospace is searching for dependable, detail‑oriented Assembly Technicians to join our growing team in Renton, WA. Position The Assembler works according to task time on a moving line or bench, performing finish assembly processes to mass‑produce commercial aircraft composite products. The individual is a semi‑skilled worker who operates machines, factory‑related processing equipment, or vehicles, has acquired skills from training and work experience, and works under moderate supervision. Shift & Pay Weekend Shift: 4:00 AM – 4:30 PM, Friday – Sunday. Pay Range: $24.25 – $28.25 DOE (FT Non‑Exempt) + 4 Comp Hours. Work 36 hours and get paid for 40. Responsibilities Follow job traveler instructions to assemble parts using small hand tools, bonding adhesives, and assembly jigs. Hand wraps insulation blankets, using utility knives, foam insulation, and insulation tape. Performs light sanding and abrading of composite, plastic, and some metal components. May perform some light riveting using rivet squeezes and pop rivet guns. Required Qualifications Fine hand motor skills. Strong attention to detail. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Self‑motivated and quick learner. Basic math skills. Preferred Qualifications Understanding of process specifications. Bonding experience. Ability to use measuring equipment, including scales and calipers. Experience with small tools. Education High School Diploma or GED preferred. Experience Two years of manufacturing experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities preferred. Working Conditions Indoor work, temperature uncontrolled. Exposure to loud noise. Exposure to hazardous equipment and contaminants. Shared workspaces. Handling objects up to 30 lb; lifting, pushing, pulling, bending. Standing and/or walking 8 to 12 or more hours per day (varies based on role, shift, and overtime).
