The Machinist CNC Setup/Operator prepares, operates, and maintains CNC equipment to produce precision components. This role combines CNC setup, program loading, tooling selection, blueprint interpretation, inspection, and material handling while maintaining quality and production standards.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC machines.
• Select and install appropriate cutting tools.
• Load and verify CNC programs.
• Perform first article and in-process inspections.
• Adjust tool offsets to maintain part specifications.
• Read and interpret engineering blueprints.
• Handle materials safely and efficiently.
• Perform preventive maintenance on CNC equipment.

Preferred Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in CNC machining.
• Experience with CNC machine operation and tooling.
• Ability to read blueprints.
• Knowledge of precision measurement and quality inspection.
• Proficiency using calipers and micrometers.
• Strong attention to detail.
