You will work directly for a leading manufacturer, gaining access to technical support, training on newest technology, and comprehensive career paths with opportunities for growth. Your responsibilities include establishing and maintaining positive relationships with customers, vendors, and co‑workers, performing scheduled and unscheduled preventative maintenance, inspections, site surveys, and service requests, including replacement and modifications of equipment or systems as needed. You will also assist in end‑to‑end testing, start‑up, commissioning, and servicing on assigned projects. Responsibility Highlights Serve as the direct customer contact and service equipment on assigned projects, ensuring customer satisfaction. Coordinate with supervising field technician/project manager and customer to understand on‑site installation and repair requirements, forecasting issues, gathering materials, and synchronizing work. Use cutting‑edge software and technology, along with hand‑tools, to diagnose and repair units following blueprints or engineering specifications. Maintain safety standards and secure company assets by recording use, wear, and conditions. Demonstrate team effort and dedication, maintaining flexibility to work overtime, weekends, and occasional overnight stays as required. Qualifications A high school diploma or equivalent, or certificate of completion from an accredited technical school (preferred). Preferably 2+ years of HVAC experience. Operating knowledge of Microsoft Office software and proficiency with handheld computers (e.g., smartphone, iPad). Valid driver’s license held for a minimum of 12 months, with no major or frequent traffic violations such as DUI, hit & run, license suspension, reckless or careless driving, or multiple evasive infractions in the previous 3 years. Additional Requirements And Environmental Exposure Safe vehicle operation using a seat belt. Use of helmets, safety goggles, fall protection harness, and safety boots. Flexibility to twist the trunk of your body 90 degrees in each direction, squat to the floor with both hands, reach hands overhead, and stand on concrete surfaces for up to 4 hours. Regular physical activity: walking, stooping, kneeling, climbing ladders, and lifting up to 10 lbs, frequently up to 40 lbs, with occasional higher weights upon special approval. Safe ladder use up to 375 lb total weight limit while wearing equipment up to 50 lbs. Maneuver access areas as small as 30″ vertical × 45″ horizontal, access rooftops with extension and/or fixed ladders up to 15–20 feet, occasionally up to 50 feet. Exposure to variable weather conditions, moving mechanical parts, heights, electrical shock risk, loud equipment, and other environmental factors based on location.
