Key Responsibilities\n

As an LCSW at Niagara Falls Health & Wellness Facility, you will:

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments for children to determine their social and emotional needs.

• Collaborate with families and other professionals to develop Individualized Family Service Plans (IFSP) that guide interventions and support for child development.
\n
• Implement strategies and interventions based on evidence-based practices while ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations.
\n
• Monitor child progress and outcomes as part of a collaborative team, adapting approaches as necessary to meet individual family and child needs.
\n
• Engage and educate families about the available services and resources that can enhance their child's developmental journey.
\n
• Utilize Natural Learning Environment Practices to promote functional skills in everyday settings.
\n
• Document all interactions and interventions in accordance with organizational policies and regulatory requirements.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on children aged birth to three years who may have developmental delays or disabilities. You will be instrumental in helping these young individuals develop essential physical, cognitive, social/emotional, and communication skills. You will work closely with families, providing them with the knowledge and tools to foster their child’s growth and development, thereby enhancing overall family dynamics and promoting healthy relationships.

Qualifications\n

The successful candidate will possess:

• A Master's Degree or Doctorate in Social Work.
\n
• Current licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) by the Department of Public Health.

• A valid driver's license to facilitate travel to various locations if necessary.
\n
• Strong organizational and time management skills, with a keen ability to prioritize tasks effectively.

• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with families and team members respectfully and effectively.
