CNC Machine OperatorSaw & Drill Line Operator | Angle Line Operator | Plasma Table OperatorWe are seeking experienced CNC Machine Operators to run structural steel processing equipment including saw and drill lines, angle lines, plasma tables, and beam processing machines. Operators will be responsible for processing raw steel material according to engineered drawings, ensuring accurate cuts, holes, layouts, and markings while maintaining production efficiency and quality standards.The ideal candidate has experience operating heavy industrial CNC equipment, reading fabrication prints, using overhead cranes, and working safely around large structural steel components.Types of Operators NeededSaw & Drill Line OperatorOperates Peddinghaus Saw/Drill Lines or similar beam processing equipment used to cut structural steel beams and drill holes according to fabrication drawings.Responsibilities:Load and position beams using overhead cranesProgram and operate CNC saw and drill equipmentVerify dimensions and hole locationsInspect finished material for accuracyMaintain production records and material trackingAngle Line OperatorOperates Peddinghaus Angle Master or similar angle processing equipment used to punch, mark, shear, and process steel angles for fabrication.Responsibilities:Process structural angles per shop drawingsVerify punch patterns and measurementsMonitor machine operations and material flowEnsure part identification and marking accuracyPerform machine setups and adjustmentsPlasma Table OperatorOperates Kinetic Plasma Table or similar CNC plasma cutting equipment used to cut plates, gussets, clips, connection plates, and custom steel components.Responsibilities:Load steel plate materialOperate CNC plasma cutting systemsVerify cut quality and dimensional accuracyPerform part marking and identificationAssist with material movement and stagingPrimary ResponsibilitiesOperate CNC structural steel fabrication equipment safely and efficientlyRead and interpret fabrication drawings, blueprints, and production paperworkMeasure materials to ensure conformance with design specificationsSelect correct material type, stock size, and dimensionsTransfer appropriate data, markings, and identifying information onto materialsVerify cuts, hole locations, dimensions, and part qualityUtilize overhead cranes and material handling systems to load and unload steelMaintain production records and track material usagePerform routine preventative maintenance on equipmentAssist in troubleshooting machine issues and production interruptionsFollow established quality, safety, and housekeeping standardsKeep work areas clean, organized, and production readyRequired QualificationsExperience operating one or more of the following: Kinetic Plasma Table, Peddinghaus Saw/Drill Line, Peddinghaus Angle Master, Ficep Beamline, similar structural steel CNC equipmentExperience working in a structural steel, steel fabrication, or heavy industrial environmentAbility to read a tape measure to 1/16"Ability to perform basic math calculationsExperience using overhead cranesAbility to regularly lift up to 50 lbs.Ability to stand, walk, bend, and work throughout an entire shiftComfortable working in indoor, non-climate-controlled environmentsStrong attention to detail and commitment to qualityPreferred QualificationsStructural steel fabrication experienceBlueprint and shop drawing interpretation skillsExperience with Tekla PowerFabForklift experienceCNC programming adjustments and troubleshooting experienceWork EnvironmentHeavy industrial structural steel fabrication facilityExposure to heat, cold, noise, dust, and moving equipmentFrequent use of overhead cranes and material conveyance systemsLarge steel beams, columns, plate, and fabrication componentsJob Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Cocoa, FL.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $30.00/hr.Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
