About The Role The role drives the operational foundation of the people team, optimizing HR processes, compliance, and employee lifecycle management. The People Operations Specialist partners closely with payroll, benefits, and leadership to scale internal systems and ensure a seamless employee experience. Key Responsibilities Manage end-to-end HR operations including onboarding, offboarding, and maintenance of employee records in HRIS platforms like BambooHR or Workday Administer global benefits programs, leave of absence tracking, and coordinate semi-monthly payroll processing with finance Ensure company compliance with local, state, and federal employment laws across multiple jurisdictions Partner with people team leadership to design, iterate, and document internal standard operating procedures and employee handbooks Analyze HR metrics and produce regular reports on headcount, turnover, and engagement survey results Support continuous improvement projects for internal tools, performance management cycles, and total rewards structures What We Are Looking For 2-4 years of experience in human resources, people operations, or talent administration within a high-growth tech environment Demonstrated proficiency with modern HRIS, ATS, and payroll systems (e.g., Workday, Rippling, Greenhouse) Strong working knowledge of US labor laws, compliance requirements, and data privacy standards Exceptional attention to detail with proven ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field Bonus: Experience implementing automated HR workflows using Zapier or Notion, SHRM-CP or PHR certification #J-18808-Ljbffr Evlo AI
