Position Overview

\n

The Senior Accountant will play a key role in managing financial reporting, analysis, and compliance activities to support business objectives. This position involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate financial data, optimize processes, and provide actionable insights for decision-making. The role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

\n

\n
• Lead overheads analysis, forecasting, and variance reporting across personnel, benefits, travel, office, and team costs
\n
• Prepare budget, forecast, and reporting submissions, including risk, opportunity, and bridge analysis
\n
• Own distributor margin adjustment reporting and analysis (SEG, BDF, LMF)
\n
• Provide insights on trade spend effectiveness and marketing investment performance
\n
• Support month-end close activities, including journal entries, accruals, recharges, cost analysis, and reconciliations
\n
• Manage POS and merchandising accounting, including warehouse costs, reclassifications, and reconciliations
\n
• Maintain and manage transfer pricing across actuals, budgets, and forecasts
\n
• Reconcile US accounts against UK Global P&L and investigate accounting variances and issues
\n
• Support monthly reporting with balance sheet commentary and financial performance analysis
\n
• Analyze shipment, depletion, logistics, and selling cost data to support commercial decision-making
\n
• Perform ad hoc financial analysis to ensure accurate financial reporting and system integrity
\n
• Support internal and external audits, GAAP compliance, and sales and use tax reporting
\n
• Develop, test, and improve financial controls, processes, and systems to enhance efficiency and compliance
\n
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives and support cross-functional projects as required
\n

Required Experience/Skills

\n

\n
• Proven experience in accounting, financial analysis, and reporting
\n
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial compliance standards
\n
• Proficiency in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
\n
• Advanced Excel skills and familiarity with ERP systems
\n
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities
\n
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams
\n

Preferred Experience/Skills

\n

\n
• Experience with financial systems implementation and optimization
\n
• Knowledge of international accounting standards and transfer pricing regulations
\n
• Familiarity with audit processes and regulatory compliance frameworks
\n
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data
\n

Education Requirements

\n

\n
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
\n
• MBA and CPA certification preferred
\n
