Senior Accountant

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys owning the month-end close process, wearing multiple hats, and helping build scalable accounting processes as the organization continues to grow.Key Responsabilities:• Own month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities• Prepare journal entries, including payroll, accruals, prepaids, allocations, and other accounting adjustments• Maintain prepaid, accrual, fixed asset, and other supporting schedules• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, including vendor payments, expense reporting, collections, and cash management• Review revenue and billing schedules to ensure accurate invoicing and compliance with ASC 606 revenue recognition requirements• Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and balance sheet accounts while investigating and resolving discrepancies• Oversee vendor onboarding, payment approvals, and related accounting processes• Assist with ERP reporting, financial analysis, and budget-to-actual reporting• Support audits, tax filings, process improvements, and internal controls initiativesWhat We're Looking For:• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field• 3+ years of accounting experience with hands-on ownership of month-end close, journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations• Strong balance sheet reconciliation experience, including bank reconciliations and resolving accounting discrepancies• Experience with ERP systems; NetSuite experience is highly preferred• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and financial reporting principles• Advanced Excel skills and an interest in leveraging automation and AI tools to improve efficiency• CPA designation, CPA track, public accounting, or audit experience is a plus• Highly organized, analytical, and detail-oriented with excellent communication skills• Comfortable working in a growing environment where processes continue to evolvePay Details: $90,000.00 to $110,000.00 per yearSearch managed by: Anca Biancucci Equal Opportunity Employer/Veterans/DisabledMilitary connected talent encouraged to applyTo read our Candidate Privacy Information Statement, which explains how we will use your information, please navigate to Company will consider qualified applicants with arrest and conviction records in accordance with federal, state, and local laws and/or security clearance requirements, including, as applicable:The California Fair Chance ActLos Angeles City Fair Chance OrdinanceLos Angeles County Fair Chance Ordinance for EmployersSan Francisco Fair Chance OrdinanceMassachusetts Candidates Only: It is unlawful in Massachusetts to require or administer a lie detector test as a condition of employment or continued employment.
