Production Control Specialist

Job Summary Maintain safe operations, plan production schedules, manpower requirements, raw material requirements to ensure production of quality products timely to meet customer requirements. Responsibilities Monitor, sample and analyze color plant production processes to ensure material meets quality standards. Make changes or adjustments to process equipment, paint formula or application rate to maintain quality specifications. Ensure safety, quality, production and housekeeping standards are met at all times by all employees. Assist with production as required. Inspect and calibrate test equipment and process control instruments as scheduled or required. Complete record keeping and reporting and shift communications promptly. Qualifications High School Diploma or GED required, additional training preferred. 3 years of experience in a manufacturing setting; prior supervisory experience preferred. Basic knowledge of mechanical equipment, heavy equipment, and electrical principles. MSHA safety background. Eligible to work in the U.S. without an employer-sponsored visa. Work Conditions Work performed in adverse conditions, temperature extremes, extended periods of standing, walking, climbing ladders and uneven surfaces.
